On December 17th, 2007 I received an e-mail from jobshark.com and I am pleased to say that after applying for the position, and a month of interviews and assessments, I am looking forward to starting my new job in February, 2008. I was fortunate to receive the e-mail from jobshark.com because I had no prior knowledge of the company that the position was listed for, and I don't know if I would have come across their job posting if it weren't for the computer match-up that is the result of your website. When I first began my job search in late November I had little experience with online searching. I spent a great deal of time searching through postings on working.com and workopolis.com, and while those sites resulted in a few interviews and offers, I am happy to say that the one I chose was directly related to your website! I know that when my friends and family are searching for their next job or career change, I will encourage them to visit your website first! Thanks again!! |

| Dear JobShark: I can't believe that I finally found a job that satisfies me in my career! And all within three weeks.... I heard about your service from a TV ad over a year ago. The time came where my company was closing down and I was about to be laid off. I decided to try JobShark as well as join a Headhunter agency (not on-line). I submitted my resume to JobShark on June 12th and my resume to the agency June 13th. Within a day, I had received several postings in My JobShark mailbox for jobs that met my requirements, and after a week, I found one that was in my exact field of expertise. I applied on June 18th, had my interview on June 30th, and found out I had the job on July 6th. It took the headhunter agency a week to follow up with me after I had submitted my resume, and then another week to meet with me, and then they didn't start checking for positions for me until July. I am a newcomer to Canada and my English skills are not exceptional. Once I did that I went to the resume wizard and was able to import my resume quickly and efficiently. I posted my job that evening and within 2 days I received an e-mail message informing me that I had a message waiting for me in JobShark. I logged in and read the message and with one click of my mouse I easily replied to them with my response. I had an interview within 3 days of my response and 2 days after that I was hired. I have registered with similar web sites such as Careerclick, workopolis, canjobs, etc and they will all send me list of opportunities they think I maybe qualified for. But the special advantage with jobshark.com was the opportunity for the company to ask you specific questions and the oportunity for you response online, more like a preliminary interview.
